Aboriginal Art Workshops for Schools

Aboriginal Art Workshops for Schools

Enrich your topic with one of our fun and educational Aboriginal Art Workshops for schools. We will discuss the content of the workshops with you prior to our visit. This ensures the workshop content is appropriate to the age and ability of your learners. Your pupils will learn how Aboriginal art, like Dreamtime storytelling, connects the Aborigine people to the land they dwell upon and the wonderful creatures that inhabit it.

Workshop Content

We have a range of Aboriginal Art Workshops for schools which are suitable for KS1 to KS5. Your pupils will explore the motifs used in Aboriginal art using dot painting. Examples of available workshops are the creation of boomerangs (using recycled card) which are then decorated with Aboriginal dot painting motifs; the creation of individual small A4-size works or one large collaborative piece.

Key Stages

KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4, KS5 and SEND.
