Dreamtime Storytelling Workshops

Australian aboriginal  traditional “Dreamtime” stories have been handed down from generation to generation, and the telling of those stories has always played, and continues to play a vital role in Australian aboriginal culture.

The stories teach aboriginal children about the environment they live in, the land upon which they subsist, the people amongst whom they live and all the living things which will all play an important part in their lives. They are the means by which aborigine children have been educated for the life they will  live.

Maori storytelling on the other hand is a mix of history, myth and legend relating to the history of the  people of Polynesia who settled in New Zealand.

We can provide artists for either of these storytelling traditions but Dreamtime, which is without doubt the oldest surviving and most famous traditional form of storytelling of all  is the more popular.
