Didgeridoo workshops are a lot of fun, and the workshop leaders who deliver them will make jaws drop when they show what an amazing sound can come from such a primitive looking instrument. If you have never heard the didge played as it can be click here.
You don’t need enormously powerful lungs to play a didgeridoo. It is all about a controlled release of a small amount of air, only possible when you are relaxed and playing gently. Of course to progress you need to learn circular breathing techniques, but beginners can make quite a lot of sounds without learning how to do that.
The didgeridoo workshop leaders will bring a supply of tubes for the students taking part.
